TRADING RULES & GUIDELINES

Everything you need to understand about account conditions, risk policies, trading conduct, and account requirements.

Last Updated: January 1, 2026
Hard Breach

A violation that triggers the account consequence specified in the applicable policy.

Soft Breach

A violation that triggers the specific consequence described in the applicable policy without automatically assuming account termination.

Model:
Account Objectives

Account Objectives

Profit Targets

Every Fund Flow evaluation account has a defined profit target that must be reached before progressing to the next phase or funded status. The profit target is calculated based on the account's starting balance, not the current equity. All profit targets must be achieved without breaching any daily or maximum loss limits.

Evaluation Stage

Phase 1: 8% profit target. Phase 2: 5% profit target. Must be achieved with at least 3 minimum trading days.

Funded Stage

No profit target applies once funded. Traders trade on behalf of Fund Flow and withdraw profits according to the payout schedule.

Permitted

Trading toward the profit target using legitimate strategies within platform guidelines.

Restricted

Manipulative trading to inflate profits artificially.

Consequences

Failure to meet the profit target within the evaluation phase means the account does not progress. No breach is recorded; the trader may continue attempting to meet the objective.

Phase 1, Phase 2
Last Updated: January 1, 2026 · v1 · Fund Flow Policy Team

Evaluation Requirements

Fund Flow evaluation accounts must complete Phase 1 and Phase 2 to qualify for a funded account. Each phase has its own profit target and risk parameters. Traders must pass both phases sequentially.

Evaluation Stage

Phase 1 and Phase 2 must each be completed. No time limit applies — traders have unlimited time to meet objectives.

Funded Stage

Once funded, no further evaluation phases apply. The trader operates under funded account rules.

Permitted

Progressing through phases at your own pace with no time pressure.

Restricted

Skipping phases or attempting to bypass evaluation.

Consequences

Failure to complete evaluation within the allowed period results in account expiration without progression.

Phase 1, Phase 2
Last Updated: January 1, 2026 · v1 · Fund Flow Policy Team

Account Progression

Account progression follows a clear path: Phase 1 evaluation, Phase 2 evaluation, and funded status. Each phase must be completed in sequence. Progression is automatic upon meeting all requirements for the current phase.

Evaluation Stage

Minimum 3 trading days per phase before the profit target qualifies for progression.

Funded Stage

Funded traders can progress through the scaling plan by maintaining consistent performance and meeting payout eligibility requirements.

Permitted

Automatic progression upon meeting all phase requirements.

Restricted

Progression cannot be requested before all conditions are met.

Phase 1, Phase 2, Funded

Maximum Evaluation Duration

Fund Flow evaluation accounts have no time limit. Traders can take as long as they need to meet the profit target and minimum trading days. There is no pressure to rush trades or take excessive risk to meet a deadline.

Evaluation Stage

No maximum duration. Traders have unlimited time to complete each evaluation phase.

Funded Stage

Not applicable — funded accounts operate under payout schedules, not evaluation timeframes.

Permitted

Trading at your own pace without time constraints.

Restricted

None.

Consequences

No consequences — unlimited time is a benefit, not a restriction.

Account Qualification Conditions

To qualify for a funded account, a trader must: (1) meet the Phase 1 profit target, (2) meet the Phase 2 profit target, (3) complete at least 3 trading days per phase, and (4) not breach any daily loss or maximum overall loss limits throughout the evaluation.

Evaluation Stage

Must meet profit target, minimum trading days, and not breach any loss limits.

Funded Stage

Funded traders must maintain compliance with all funded account rules to remain eligible for payouts.

Permitted

Meeting all qualification conditions for funded status.

Restricted

Progression with unresolved breaches or incomplete requirements.

Consequences

Accounts that do not meet qualification conditions remain in their current phase.

Instant Funding — Account Overview

Instant Funding provides traders with direct access to a funded account without completing a traditional evaluation phase. Traders receive live capital immediately upon purchase and must comply with all applicable risk management, consistency, and trading conduct requirements from the first trade.

Evaluation Stage

No evaluation phase — Instant Funding accounts start as funded.

Funded Stage

All Instant Funding rules apply from the first trade.

Permitted

Trading with the funded capital in accordance with all platform rules.

Restricted

Any violation of Instant Funding rules may result in account suspension or termination.

Consequences

Not applicable — this is an explanatory rule.

Daily Loss Limit

Daily Loss Percentage

Hard Breach

The daily loss limit is set at 5% of the account's starting balance for that day. For example, on a $100,000 account, the daily loss limit is $5,000. If the account's equity falls to $95,000 or below at any point during the trading day, a hard breach occurs.

Evaluation Stage

5% of the daily starting balance for all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

5% of the daily starting balance for funded accounts.

Permitted

Risk management that keeps daily losses within 5%.

Restricted

Allowing equity to drop 5% below the daily starting balance.

Consequences

Hard breach — account termination.

Equity-Based Monitoring

Fund Flow monitors the daily loss limit using equity, not just account balance. This means that floating (unrealized) losses are counted toward the daily loss limit in real time. If your open positions are losing and your equity drops to the daily loss limit, a breach occurs even if the positions are not yet closed.

Evaluation Stage

Equity-based monitoring applies in all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

Equity-based monitoring continues during funded status.

Permitted

Monitoring equity in real time to manage risk.

Restricted

Ignoring floating losses that approach the daily limit.

Consequences

Not applicable — this is a calculation methodology, not a breach condition.

Phase 1, Phase 2, Funded

Daily Reset Time

The daily loss limit resets at 00:00 server time (Asia/Bahrain, UTC+3). A new trading day begins with a new daily starting balance. The daily starting balance is the account balance at the start of the trading day, not the equity.

Evaluation Stage

Reset at 00:00 Asia/Bahrain (UTC+3) for all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

Same reset time applies during funded status.

Permitted

Starting fresh each trading day with a new daily loss limit.

Restricted

Attempting to carry over losses from the previous day.

Consequences

Not applicable — this defines the reset schedule, not a breach condition.

Treatment of Floating Losses

Hard Breach

Floating losses (unrealized losses from open positions) are fully counted toward the daily loss limit. This means that if your open positions are losing and your equity reaches the daily loss threshold, a breach occurs even if you have not closed any positions. Traders must monitor their equity, not just their closed P&L.

Evaluation Stage

Floating losses are counted toward the daily loss limit in real time during all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

Same treatment of floating losses during funded status.

Permitted

Closing positions before equity reaches the daily loss limit.

Restricted

Holding losing positions that push equity to the daily loss limit.

Consequences

If floating losses push equity to the daily loss limit, a hard breach occurs immediately, even without closing the positions.

Phase 1, Phase 2, Funded
Last Updated: January 1, 2026 · v1 · Fund Flow Policy Team

Instant Funding — Daily Loss Limit

Hard Breach

Instant Funding accounts are subject to a 5% daily loss limit based on the account's starting balance. The daily loss is calculated as the difference between the day's starting equity and the lowest equity reached during the day, including floating losses. If the daily loss reaches or exceeds 5% of the starting balance, the account is terminated.

Evaluation Stage

Applies to Instant Funding accounts from day one.

Funded Stage

Same daily loss limit applies during funded status.

Permitted

Trading within the daily loss limit.

Restricted

Exceeding 5% daily loss including floating losses.

Consequences

Hard breach. Account is terminated and cannot be reinstated.

Funded

Maximum Overall Loss

Maximum Drawdown

Hard Breach

The maximum overall loss is the total maximum amount a trader can lose from the account's starting balance. It is set at 10% of the initial account balance. This limit is static, meaning it does not trail or adjust based on profits. For example, on a $100,000 account, the maximum overall loss limit is $90,000 — if equity falls to $90,000 at any point, a hard breach occurs.

Evaluation Stage

10% of the starting balance for all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

10% of the funded account starting balance.

Permitted

Trading within the maximum overall loss limit.

Restricted

Allowing equity to fall 10% below the starting balance at any point.

Consequences

Exceeding the maximum overall loss results in a hard breach and account termination.

Phase 1, Phase 2, Funded
Last Updated: January 1, 2026 · v1 · Fund Flow Policy Team

Static Drawdown

Fund Flow uses a static drawdown model. The maximum overall loss is calculated from the account's starting balance and does not move or trail as the account generates profit. This means the drawdown limit remains fixed at 10% below the initial balance throughout the evaluation and funded phases.

Evaluation Stage

Static drawdown based on the starting balance for all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

Static drawdown continues during funded status — the limit does not trail.

Permitted

Knowing the exact drawdown limit at all times.

Restricted

Assuming the drawdown limit adjusts with profits.

Consequences

Not applicable — this defines the calculation type.

Phase 1, Phase 2, Funded
Last Updated: January 1, 2026 · v1 · Fund Flow Policy Team

Trailing Drawdown

Fund Flow does not use a trailing drawdown model. The maximum overall loss is fixed at 10% below the starting balance and does not trail upward as the account profits. This gives traders a consistent, predictable risk limit throughout the entire account lifecycle.

Evaluation Stage

No trailing drawdown — static drawdown applies.

Funded Stage

No trailing drawdown during funded status.

Permitted

Benefiting from a fixed, predictable drawdown limit.

Restricted

Not applicable.

Consequences

Not applicable — Fund Flow does not use trailing drawdown.

Breach Conditions for Maximum Loss

Hard Breach

A breach of the maximum overall loss occurs when the account equity falls to or below the maximum drawdown threshold (10% below starting balance) at any point. This is a hard breach that results in immediate account termination. The breach is triggered by equity, not closed balance, meaning floating losses can trigger the breach.

Evaluation Stage

Equity falling to or below 90% of the starting balance at any point during evaluation.

Funded Stage

Same breach condition applies during funded status.

Permitted

Managing risk to keep equity above the maximum drawdown threshold.

Restricted

Allowing equity to reach the maximum drawdown threshold.

Consequences

Hard breach — account termination. The account cannot be reinstated.

Phase 1, Phase 2, Funded
Last Updated: January 1, 2026 · v1 · Fund Flow Policy Team

Instant Funding — Maximum Overall Drawdown

Hard Breach

The maximum overall drawdown for Instant Funding accounts is 10% of the starting balance. This is calculated from the account's high-water mark (the highest equity value ever reached) to the current equity, including floating losses. If the account equity drops 10% below the high-water mark, the account is terminated.

Evaluation Stage

Applies to Instant Funding accounts.

Funded Stage

Same maximum overall loss applies.

Permitted

Trading within the maximum overall loss limit.

Restricted

Exceeding 10% maximum overall drawdown from the high-water mark.

Consequences

Hard breach. Account is permanently terminated.

Funded

Drawdown Calculation

Drawdown Calculation Methodology

Both the daily loss limit and maximum overall loss are calculated using equity (account balance + floating P&L). This means that unrealized losses from open positions count toward both limits in real time. Traders must monitor their equity continuously, not just their closed balance.

Evaluation Stage

Equity-based calculation for both daily and maximum loss in all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

Same equity-based calculation during funded status.

Permitted

Real-time equity monitoring for risk management.

Restricted

Relying on closed balance alone for loss calculations.

Consequences

Not applicable — this defines the calculation methodology.

Instant Funding — Equity-Based Monitoring

Instant Funding accounts are monitored using equity-based drawdown, not balance-based drawdown. This means floating (unrealized) losses are included in all drawdown calculations. The high-water mark is the highest equity value the account has ever reached, and drawdown is measured from that point to current equity.

Evaluation Stage

Applies at all times.

Funded Stage

Same equity-based monitoring applies.

Permitted

Monitoring positions in real-time against equity-based limits.

Restricted

Ignoring floating losses when calculating drawdown exposure.

Consequences

Not applicable — this is an explanatory rule.

Instant Funding — Floating Losses

Hard Breach

Floating (unrealized) losses are included in all loss and drawdown calculations for Instant Funding accounts. Traders must manage open positions carefully, as floating losses count toward both the daily loss limit and the maximum overall drawdown. A position that is not closed can trigger a breach if floating losses exceed the limits.

Evaluation Stage

Applies at all times during open positions.

Funded Stage

Same floating loss policy applies.

Permitted

Managing open positions to keep floating losses within limits.

Restricted

Leaving positions open that cause floating losses exceeding risk limits.

Consequences

Hard breach if floating losses cause equity to breach the daily loss or maximum overall loss limit.

Risk Per Trade

Risk Per Trade

While Fund Flow does not impose a strict per-trade risk limit, traders are strongly advised to risk no more than 1-2% of their account balance per trade. Proper risk management is essential to avoid breaching the daily loss and maximum overall loss limits. Consistent over-risking per trade increases the likelihood of a hard breach.

Evaluation Stage

Recommended maximum 2% risk per trade during evaluation.

Funded Stage

Recommended maximum 2% risk per trade during funded status.

Permitted

Risk 1-2% per trade using proper position sizing.

Restricted

Risking more than 5% per trade, which could breach the daily loss limit in a single trade.

Consequences

No specific breach — but excessive risk may contribute to daily or maximum loss breaches.

Correlated Positions

Traders should be aware that holding multiple correlated positions (e.g., EUR/USD and GBP/USD) effectively increases risk exposure, as these positions tend to move in the same direction. While Fund Flow does not prohibit correlated positions, traders must account for the combined risk when managing their overall exposure.

Evaluation Stage

No specific limit on correlated positions, but total exposure must stay within loss limits.

Funded Stage

Same guidance applies during funded status.

Permitted

Holding correlated positions with awareness of combined risk.

Restricted

Using correlated positions to circumvent exposure limits.

Consequences

No specific breach — but correlated positions increase overall risk exposure.

Instant Funding — Risk Per Trade

Soft Breach

Traders on Instant Funding accounts should risk no more than 5% of the account balance on any single trade. This includes the margin used and the potential loss if the stop-loss is triggered. Risking more than 5% per trade is a soft breach and may result in position closure and a warning.

Evaluation Stage

Applies to every trade.

Funded Stage

Same risk per trade limit applies.

Permitted

Risking up to 5% of account balance per trade.

Restricted

Risking more than 5% of account balance on a single trade.

Consequences

Soft breach. The trade may be closed and a warning issued. Repeated violations may escalate to account suspension.

Funded

Instant Funding — Position Sizing

Soft Breach

Position sizing must be appropriate for the account balance and the instrument's volatility. Traders should use consistent position sizes relative to their risk per trade limit. Erratic or oversized positions that exceed the risk per trade limit are a soft breach.

Evaluation Stage

Applies to every trade.

Funded Stage

Same position sizing rules apply.

Permitted

Using consistent, appropriate position sizes.

Restricted

Using erratic or oversized position sizes.

Consequences

Soft breach. Oversized positions may be closed.

Instant Funding — Stop-Loss Requirements

While Fund Flow does not mandate stop-loss orders on every trade, traders are strongly encouraged to use them as part of a responsible risk management strategy. Not using a stop-loss increases the risk of breaching the daily loss or maximum overall loss limits, which would result in account termination.

Evaluation Stage

Applies to all trades.

Funded Stage

Same stop-loss guidance applies.

Permitted

Using stop-loss orders for risk management.

Restricted

Nothing — stop-loss is recommended but not required.

Maximum Exposure

Multiple Positions on the Same Instrument

Fund Flow allows a maximum leverage of 100:1 across all account models. Traders can hold multiple positions on the same instrument, but total exposure must remain within the leverage limit. Hedging the same instrument (opening both buy and sell positions simultaneously) is permitted but does not reduce risk for loss calculation purposes.

Evaluation Stage

Maximum leverage of 100:1 applies during all evaluation phases.

Funded Stage

Maximum leverage of 100:1 during funded status.

Permitted

Multiple positions within the 100:1 leverage limit.

Restricted

Exceeding the 100:1 maximum leverage limit.

Consequences

No specific breach — but excessive exposure may contribute to loss limit breaches.

Exposure Limits

The maximum exposure limit is defined by the 100:1 leverage cap. Traders must ensure that the total notional value of all open positions does not exceed 100 times the account balance. This limit applies across all instruments and positions simultaneously.

Evaluation Stage

Total exposure must not exceed 100:1 leverage during evaluation.

Funded Stage

Same 100:1 leverage exposure limit during funded status.

Permitted

Managing total exposure within the leverage limit.

Restricted

Exceeding the 100:1 leverage exposure limit.

Position Management

Traders are responsible for managing their open positions at all times. This includes setting appropriate stop-loss orders, monitoring equity in real time, and closing positions that are approaching loss limits. Fund Flow does not require specific position management tools, but strongly recommends the use of stop-loss orders on every trade.

Evaluation Stage

Standard position management during evaluation.

Funded Stage

Same position management expectations during funded status.

Permitted

Using stop-loss orders and active position management.

Restricted

Leaving positions unmonitored, especially near loss limits.

Consequences

No specific breach — but poor position management may lead to loss limit breaches.

Instant Funding — Exposure Management

Soft Breach

Total open exposure across all positions must not exceed 1:100 leverage equivalent of the account balance. Traders must manage their total position size to ensure that combined margin usage does not exceed the maximum exposure limit. Exceeding this limit is a soft breach.

Evaluation Stage

Applies at all times.

Funded Stage

Same exposure limit applies.

Permitted

Managing total exposure within the leverage limit.

Restricted

Exceeding the maximum exposure limit.

Consequences

Soft breach. Positions may be partially closed to reduce exposure.

Instant Funding — Correlated Positions

Soft Breach

Traders must avoid holding positions that are highly correlated in the same direction, as this effectively increases risk beyond the intended exposure. For example, holding long positions in EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and AUD/USD simultaneously constitutes correlated risk. Fund Flow monitors correlation and may close positions that create excessive correlated exposure.

Evaluation Stage

Applies to all open positions.

Funded Stage

Same correlated position policy applies.

Permitted

Holding diversified positions across non-correlated instruments.

Restricted

Holding multiple highly correlated positions in the same direction.

Consequences

Soft breach. Correlated positions may be closed.

Consistency Requirements

Consistency Requirements

Fund Flow does not impose a strict consistency rule during evaluation. Traders are not penalized for having one or two large winning days. However, Fund Flow reserves the right to review accounts where a single trade represents an abnormally high percentage of total profit, as this may indicate excessive risk-taking rather than consistent trading ability.

Evaluation Stage

No strict consistency rule during evaluation — traders must simply meet profit target and minimum trading days.

Funded Stage

Consistency is encouraged during funded status but not strictly enforced.

Permitted

Trading consistently with varied position sizes and strategies.

Restricted

Relying on a single high-risk trade for the majority of profits.

Consequences

Inconsistent trading patterns do not constitute a breach, but may affect reward eligibility.

Profit Distribution

Profit distribution refers to how profits are spread across trading days. While Fund Flow does not enforce a strict consistency rule, a well-distributed profit profile across multiple trading days demonstrates consistent trading ability. Traders who concentrate all profit in a single day may be reviewed for excessive risk-taking.

Evaluation Stage

No strict profit distribution requirement during evaluation.

Funded Stage

No strict profit distribution requirement during funded status.

Permitted

Distributing profits across multiple trading days.

Restricted

Concentrating all profit in a single high-risk trade.

Trading Day Concentration

Traders must complete at least 3 trading days per evaluation phase. This requirement ensures that traders do not rely on a single day of trading to pass the evaluation. Concentrating all trading in a single day is not sufficient to progress, even if the profit target is met.

Evaluation Stage

Minimum 3 trading days per evaluation phase.

Funded Stage

No minimum trading day concentration requirement during funded status.

Permitted

Spreading trades across at least 3 trading days.

Restricted

Attempting to pass evaluation in fewer than 3 trading days.

Consequences

No breach — but minimum trading days must be met.

Reward Eligibility Implications

While consistency does not directly affect evaluation progression, it may be considered when reviewing reward eligibility for funded accounts. Fund Flow reserves the right to review funded accounts where a single trade or day represents an abnormally high percentage of total profit, as this may indicate excessive risk-taking.

Evaluation Stage

Consistency does not affect evaluation progression.

Funded Stage

Consistency may be considered for reward eligibility and scaling plan progression.

Permitted

Demonstrating consistent trading patterns.

Restricted

Relying on excessive risk for the majority of profits.

Consequences

Accounts with abnormal profit concentration may be reviewed for reward eligibility.

15% Consistency Requirement

A trader's highest profitable trading day must not exceed 15% of the total accumulated profit when assessing consistency eligibility. Consistency Percentage = (Highest Profitable Day / Total Accumulated Profit) x 100. If the highest profitable day represents more than 15% of accumulated profit, the trader must generate additional eligible profits before satisfying the consistency requirement.

Evaluation Stage

Applies to Instant Funding accounts.

Funded Stage

Must be satisfied before any payout is approved.

Permitted

Trading consistently across multiple days to build accumulated profit.

Restricted

Generating more than 15% of total profit in a single day without offsetting with additional profitable days.

Consequences

Traders who do not meet the 15% consistency threshold must generate additional eligible profits before a payout is approved. This is an eligibility condition, not an automatic account termination.

Examples

Total accumulated profit: $10,000. Highest profitable day: $1,500. Consistency percentage: 15%. Status: Meets threshold.

Minimum Trading Days

Minimum Trading Days

Fund Flow requires a minimum of 3 trading days per evaluation phase. A trading day is defined as any calendar day on which at least one position is opened or closed. This ensures traders demonstrate consistency rather than relying on a single high-risk trade.

Evaluation Stage

At least 3 individual trading days must be logged in each evaluation phase.

Funded Stage

No minimum trading days requirement once funded.

Permitted

Spreading trades across multiple days to demonstrate consistency.

Restricted

Meeting the profit target in fewer than 3 days does not qualify for progression.

Consequences

Meeting the profit target in fewer than 3 trading days does not qualify for progression. The account remains in evaluation until 3 trading days are completed.

Inactivity Policy

Inactivity Period

Fund Flow considers an account inactive if no trading activity occurs for 30 consecutive days. Inactive accounts may be archived and require reactivation before trading can resume. Inactivity does not constitute a breach, but traders should contact support if they need to pause trading for an extended period.

Evaluation Stage

30 days of inactivity during evaluation may result in account archiving.

Funded Stage

30 days of inactivity during funded status may result in account suspension.

Permitted

Contacting support to pause trading if needed.

Restricted

Leaving accounts inactive without notification.

Consequences

Dormant Accounts

Accounts with no trading activity for 30 or more consecutive days are classified as dormant. Dormant accounts are not deleted but may be suspended until the trader contacts support to reactivate them. Fund Flow monitors dormant accounts to ensure they are not being used for unauthorized purposes.

Evaluation Stage

Accounts inactive for 30+ days are classified as dormant.

Funded Stage

Same dormant account policy during funded status.

Permitted

Reactivating dormant accounts by contacting support.

Restricted

Leaving accounts dormant indefinitely without communication.

Account Closure Conditions

Fund Flow does not close accounts solely due to inactivity. Inactive accounts are archived and can be reactivated by contacting support. However, if an account remains inactive for an extended period (90+ days), Fund Flow reserves the right to close the account and any associated data.

Evaluation Stage

Accounts are not closed for inactivity during evaluation.

Funded Stage

Same policy — funded accounts are not closed for inactivity within 90 days.
